michelle + james engagement
I photographed James and Michelle’s engagement session recently up at the studio in Addison Circle and I can’t WAIT to photograph their wedding at Rough Creek Lodge in April!
luke + faith engagement
I photographed Luke and Faith’s engagement session and wanted to share these really cool “Save the Date” cards that Luke created out of a couple of the images. That’s some impressive graphic design work, isn’t it?
We had a great time during the session and I’m really looking forward to photographing their wedding in July!
8 weddings before lunch! (or all you need is love…)
What do wedding photographers do in their spare time? Shoot weddings, of course!
As a personal project, I, along with a group of photographers across the country, went in search of couples who tied the knot on Valentine’s Day at local courthouses and Justice of the Peace offices. I was fortunate enough to spend the morning with Justice of the Peace Linda Davis and her wonderful staff (of Precinct 2 in Tarrant County, Texas) and witness the wedding ceremonies of 8 couples in about 3 hours.
I left (to go back to my regularly scheduled work
) at the lunch break and they told me that the afternoon as going to be even more hectic!
Here’s a photo of each of the 8 couples.
And a link to a slideshow of even more images :

I thoroughly enjoyed the experience of meeting and photographing everyone and seeing that truly all you need is love….

3 November 2007 : John + Jane in Seattle, WA
I love to shoot photographers’ weddings. Absolutely! and especially if I get to travel to the clear and refreshing Northwest.
It was a honor to be chosen to document the special day for a wonderful couple and great photographers John Hong and Jane Lee. Thank you you guys for trusting in me
I also got to work with a great young talent : Sean Flanigan. Thanks Sean!
John + Jane’s highlights show and can be seen here.
Some of our faves :

27 October 2007 : Stacy + David
What? No ring?
No problem. They laughed it off. Despite not having David’s wedding ring at the ceremony (it as left back in the room), Stacy and David continued with their lighthearted and fun wedding day at Storybook Ranch in McKinney, TX.
Stacy is one of the happiest brides we’ve ever met and we were just amazed at her energy and spirit. You’ll see…
(I was assisted by the great David Hegar from http://www.lifeuncommonphotography.com/ who came in from Kansas City. Thanks David!)

20 October 2007 : Christiena + Brent
(A little late, but we’re catching up with some recent weddings. We have so much to show…here we go!)
Christiena and Brent : congratulations!
