Teri + Luke in Longview, TX
It was more than a wedding day - it was family day! We could really see and feel the happiness of Luke and Teri’s families as they gathered for the wedding celebration at the First Baptist Church in Longview, TX. Everyone just had a great time.
Here’s the show: http://www.f8studio.com/teriandluke
And some of my faves from the day (and a few from the bridal session too).
Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Crowson

We’ve totally enjoyed the whole process from our meetings (talking photos!), the planning, the bridal and engagement sessions, the big day(!) in some cool places in addition to our beloved Dallas - New Orleans, Mexico, Belize, Naples, San Antonio, Longview, Iowa, Minnesota, Tucson, Austin, Colorado, Houston, New York City, Savannah, and Marathon, TX - hanging out with your guys and other various family members, and of course, the after meetings when we enjoy the images together.
We consider ourselves extremely blessed and fortunate to have been able to work with super clients like y’all . That made 2008 a success makes us look forward even more to 2009 where new adventures await ![]()
We wish y’all the best in the new year,

Mystic 4
See y’all in a couple of weeks at Mystic 4, a annual seminar up put on by Walter van Dusen up in chilly Connecticut. I’ll be giving the presentation on Sunday night on what I do in wedding photojournalism. It’s an honor to be speaking among some very talented and successful photographers.
We’ll hang out a little too

moonlight and a storm in Belize - Vicki + Steve
Seriously, I’m not a globe-trotting photographer! It’s just a coincidence that I’ve been on a few trips lately
After getting back from Mexico, I headed out to San Pedro, Belize, one of my favorite places to shoot (the Victoria House - remember Veronica + Marcus?) - and then on to see a bit of east Texas (Longview) and then Naples, FL. Will be blogging these weddings soon.
These images are some of our faves from the wedding days of Vicki + Steve, a couple from Houston that we met at the last Belize wedding. They had a great time being with friend, family, and in love. Their laid-back spirit is truly contagious!
As you can see, the nights were beautifully lit by a full moon (made possible by some long-exposure handheld shots). However, the wedding night ended up with a surprise rainstorm that added a little flavor to the weekend

(With thanks to David from www.lifeuncommonphotography.com for all his help!)
Enjoy!
