Denise’s Birthday

Denise’s wonderful family and friends surprised her with an awesome birthday party at their beautiful home in Highland Park.   The gang from Three Sixty Events made sure the party looked great and ran smoothly.  From the ‘Happy Birthday’ choir, to the delicious food, to the party’s extra special guests, and the ever popular boothBOOTH - not one detail was overlooked.  Emerald City Band kept the dance floor hoppin’ and everone had a blast!  Thanks to all who made this one happen.  Be sure to check out all the fun coming soon at www.denisebirthday.com

the engagement session - all fun and games

Engagement sessions are fun, aren’t they? ! You get a couple of hours of alone time to relax and play with your beloved. It’s a nice break in your busy schedule.

As your photographers, we enjoy getting to know you personally as well as checking out some of your angles so that we can formulate how to pose you (for your portraits) on the wedding day It’s also a chance for you to get to know us and to be familiar with having us around and hearing a little click click here an a little click click there. Once we become part of your scene, it’s very easy to ignore us and be natural. That’s when we get these fantastically real images that our clients have come to expect from f8studio photographers :)

What to wear at engagement? Your favorite outfits, of course! Just be comfortable and don’t lug around a lot of stuff. We like to keep movin’. Bring your dog, your cat, your roommate, even your parents! (yup, we had that :) ) Let’s make a day of it.

Of course, our engagement sessions tend to be very spontaneous, free-flowing, and natural. That’s the f8 philosophy that applies to all kinds of photo sessions and even weddings.

So be yourselves and let it happen…

Rocking the ISPWP spring 2009 photo competition

Thanks to you - our awesome clients -  for being great subjects in helping Kym and Huy take 2nd Place and 10th Place in the ISPWP’s Spring 2009 photo competition.  These images were selected among the winners in a tough field of great photography.

It’s almost easy when we have clients who really enjoy living and loving on their wedding day and trust us to apply our vision to produce memorable imagery.

We’re very proud of these results and are definitely looking forward to the Spring 2009 one!
